Hannah First

Hannah was a black belt in tae kwon do, and when she began to experience leg pain, the last thing we ever thought was cancer. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with osteosarcoma at age 11. She underwent her first rounds of chemotherapy and was clear of any cancer cells. However, just four years later, the cancer returned in her lungs. She continued to have relapses off and on for three years in her leg, lungs, and brain. We lost Hannah on March 18, 2013. Though cancer was a major part of Hannah’s life, it did not define her life. She lived life to the fullest and an unforgettable personality. She put up a really tough fight and had an amazing attitude during the whole battle. She is truly an inspiration and will forever be her family’s number one hero. We love her and miss her more than words could ever possibly explain.
